The toughest material for a blade?

I am starting to hunt and would like a tough blade by my side while im out in the field. Through countless searches I have narrowed it down to four KNIVES:
1)Ontario Knife Company ASEK Survival Knife System- blade type: 1095 Carbon steel blade
2)Zero Tolerance A100- blade type: CPM3V tool-steel with Tungsten DLC coating
3)Chris Reeve Knives pacific- blade type: CPM S30V stainless steel
4)SOG Tech bowie- blady type: AUS 8

The 1095 is going to be the least corrosion resistant and it’s toughness will depend on how well it was heat treated (I’m sure Ontario does an excellent job). The CPM3V has weird corrosion characteristics, but when coated with the tungsten that won’t be an issue, so it will be a very tough, long lasting knife. But I think the CPM S30V will be your best choice, because it approaches A2 toughness with stainless steel’s type of corrosion resistance. If the people at Chris Reeve liked it enough to switch to it, I would go with that. The AUS 8 will hold the sharpest edge, but is probably not quite as tough.

A2 has often been considered the benchmark for toughness in knife making, and if Chris Reeve has found a steel that approaches that toughness but is corrosion resistant, I would put my money there.
