want some advice for throwing KNIVES?

It’s a large hunting knife. The properties are:

Depends on the distance you’re throwing it. All knives rotate differently.

I have one fixed blade that I throw. At 3′, I hold it by the handle. Around 6′ and I have to hold by the blade. 9′ back to the handle, and at 12′ I get 2 rotations before the blade sticks again.

All my throws are overhand, focusing more on accuracy than power. But the bottom line is you need to feel your style and particular knife out.
