Would it be legal in New York State to sell potentially dangerous items at a garage sale?

I have a Jarts game that was popular in the 1970′s and I heard it was illegal to sell them now because some people had injured themselves with the weighted and pointed metal tips. I also have several pocket KNIVES. Now would it be legal to sell these at a garage sale?
Jarts are not allowed to be sold on EBAY.

Just don’t sell to kids. Selling to an adult puts future liability on them.
