I can not identify this strange green rock?

The white on the outside of scratches quite easily (I think is the chalk). I can not scratch the green with a knife. I took the rocks that have been transported in what could be anywhere. I was serpentine, but it seems too green and not well layers. If you need more information to identify or simple tests you can do to reduce, I'll be happy to preform, just let me know. What looks like green quartz. It is silica, the green color is of impurities such as Fe or Mg or Cr – you'd use an electron microscope probe to learn more.
