Runescape ranging at pest control?

I am considering going for 99 ranging on runescape. I will be doing this at pest control and i have been wondering this: should i use a magic short bow, Rune crossbow, bone crossbow or some type of throwing KNIVES? also, which arrows or bolts should i use with the bows?

It depends. Rune c’bows hit harder, therefore, they are more fun in my opinion lol. You know what they say, time flies when your havin’ fun Although, throwing knives are way faster but they hit low, and I’ve spent hours and hours ranging yaks with knives, and it seems to go soooo slow and boring… I’d personally rather range dragons or something with a c’bow, rather than knife yaks or experiments because, well, it’s more distracting.
