Are spring loaded KNIVES and spring assisted knives the same?

I have a pocket knife and it is spring assisted. I live in NC and it says “14-269.6… it shall be unlawful for any person, including
law enforcement officers… to possess, offer for sale,
hold for sale, sell, give, loan, deliver, transport,
manufacture or go armed with any spring-loaded projectile
knife, ballistic knife, or any weapon of similar
character”
So, does this mean mine is illegal? I bought it at a flea mall and it has the army emblem on it. On the blade it says “I support our troops”
how it works? I push the blade out and a spring helps it open. I just carry it for protection and if I need to cut something. Like at my job I use it alot!
ok the is a little thing that sticks off the blade i push it up with my thumb and it opens rather quickly. I do not use two hands.

If the knife opens with the press of a button, it is spring loaded. If the spring only makes it a little easier for you to manually open the blade, it is not.

You conveniently left out how your knife functions and tried to argue semantics.The idea is how the knife WORKS, not what it is called. Get it?
