With all the knife crime on the streets these days I would like to know if it is still legal?
to carry a normal pen knife or the Swiss army type knife that I have had in my pocket for 30 years, to me it is a very useful tool.
A pen knife is considered to be illegal in some countries, while the Swiss army type knife can be carried to some extent because Swiss KNIVES are marketed and worldwide known to all.
WHAT IS THE LOGIC OF CARRYING KNIVES in the first place, to defend oneself in case of an attack by someone? YES IT IS A VERY USEFUL TOOL INDEED esp. these Swiss army type knife. But carrying them to defend oneself is not these type of knives, knives that is usually long and sharp, if you know what I mean, Swiss knives are for camping and emergency tool knives, when in the streets you just can’t pull out a Swiss knives and scare potential street punks they will just laugh at you. They have the biggest and sharpess of knives you ever think of, what can a Swiss knife do?
